This year the organizers of the Bloomington Handmade Market have done something new and exciting.  We have opened a portion of our show to student artists from IU Bloomington and Ivy Tech and call it our Micro Market.  What we hope to teach these makers is how you can grow a business from things you make.  So for today and tomorrow we will be introducing you to our amazing Micro Market artists.

And don't forget....the Bloomington Handmade Market is THIS Saturday, November 12th, at the Bloomington Convention Center from 10am-5pm.

Thao Pham
I'm a girl who is born in Vietnam and soulfully nurtured in the USA. I love nature and Vietnamese traditional hand embroidery. This project aims at capturing the beauty of nature through hand embroidery in fabric products.

Leo Quirk
Leo Quirk enjoyed photography from a young age and purchased his first DSLR camera at the age of seventeen after becoming more serious about the hobby. Mr. Quirk has created conceptual photo series, done formal photo shoots for musicians, and documented events for multiple national organizations. Mr. Quirk was self-taught until last year when he began his minor in photography at Indiana University which encouraged a growth of conceptual nature in his work.

Logan Richards - Eyehart Toys
Logan Richards of Eyehart Toys brings art and collectible figures together with personal stories and flair. Combining detailed macabre sculpture with a bright and inviting color pallet Eyehart Toys makes the "scary" fun and exciting for art collectors of all kinds. From the heart of the corn-fed Midwest springs forward a determined and experimental artist bent on world domination and redefining how the world looks at the word "toy" one resin art figure at a time!

Yun Xiao
I am an handcraft and photography lover, who is still trying to express myself by art. My artworks always involve the elements from a specific historical period in 1960s-1970s China which was a very special time. Those elements were used to disseminate the government policy which have very strong character.
