They also make some killer wooden earrings. Just 3 more days till the BHM and we just can't wait for you to be able to see all our vendors! But today we got two vendors but 3 artist to share with you. Starsprinkle Supercollider This husband and wife team are not only fun people but they make great art. He makes amazing illustrations and she makes amazing jewelry. How could you possibly go wrong with that?! These Bloomington locals always have a fun booth that you just can't miss. Vincet Desjardins
Known for making retro style illustrations Vincent has also broken out into the textile world. Not only does he make amazing illustrations but he also takes those illustrations and has them made into fabrics. Out of these awesome fabrics he makes pillows and coin purses. And don't miss his oh so cute and cuddly illustrated animal pillows. Sometimes insurance can be a very scary thing for small businesses, but let us tell you - Shine makes it ALL ok!! McKenzie and Jeremy at Shine are down to earth, fun to work with, and so knowledgeable when it comes to their trade! Not only do the cover BHM - many of our small business friends use Shine as well! As well as independent artists! Our favorite thing about Shine: Well, we must admit, McKenzie makes a pretty mean cowboy cookie! Sage's Simple Syrups
For a little something new at the BHM this year we have Sage's Simple Syrups. They are syrups that you can use to liven up any mixed drink (or mocktails) and they are made of all natural ingredients. And as the couple who creates these awesome taste say, " Treat yourself to a simple life and indulge at your leisure." We are down to the final week before the Bloomington Handmade Market and we still have a few artist to showcase. So stick with us folks and see all our artist have to offer this week. Then don't forget to come check them all out at the Market THIS Saturday, Nov. 8th. Eclectic Local It's getting colder out there and we all could use some amazing hats and mittens. Check out what Eclectic Local has to offer because her hats are so stinkin cute! The Red Thread Weavings
Using natural fibers and dyes The Red Thread Weavings make amazing woven, crocheted, knitted, sewed (and whatever else you can do with threads) pieces. They have some wonderful scarves and shawls but these pieces really are a thing you have to see in person. We have such a supportive community here in Bloomington!! Last year Melissa from Infinite Borders Photography volunteered to be our show photographer, and this year she's come on as a sponsor to do the same! She has such a great eye, and a fantastic smile - not to mention the fact she takes amazing photos! Our favorite thing about Infinite Borders: We Love Melissa's keen eye for style and her openness to work with members of the community! And that family foot picture down there is pretty darn awesome!! |
