Tony has spent his life in Bloomington sketching out the buildings of Bloomington and beyond, and providing his services to architects, building owners, and designers alike. Have a new building you're thinking of renovating? Call on Tony and he can get the blueprint started for you! Have an apartment you're trying to figure out how to design? Call on Tony! He's worked rental companies with such as Parker Management, Omega Properties, Elkins Rentals, etc. Most recently he's worked with architects in the Bedford area to bring a new gymnastics facility and Irish Pub to their downtown! A contractor with a crafter for a wife - what else could you ask for?!
Gather is like the left-hand to our Bloomington Handmade Market. One cannot exist without the other. And so, we give them a special sponsor shout-out today for the support, inspiration, and consistency that we provide each other.
If you've never stepped foot inside Gather (it's ok, at least go to the Market) why not stop in the Saturday of the spring mini. You'll find nearly 300 makers in 1300 sq foot that represent all that BHM stands for. They're a home for BHM vendors past, present, and future, and will continue to grow and thrive as the Market does the same. Thank you.
We're so excited to have Cardinal Stage on as a Sponsor again this spring! Cardinal does so many amazing, interesting, fun, mesmerizing activities and programs and we're so proud to be part of their community! We do hope that you witnessed the pure Joy that was Love, Loss, and What I Wore last week with ensemble casts from all over Bloomington! Cardinal raised well over $5 K for My Sister's Closet through these performances! At the end of this month, make sure to check out Elephant and Piggies - we are in a play at the Waldron!!
Each year, the organizers behind BHM work to find sponsors that will help to feed the makers the day of the market. And each year we're super stoked to work with Bloomington Bagel Company who provides our vendors with bagels and schmears for breakfast and Aver's Pizza who donates their gourmet pizza for lunch. We couldn't make it without them!!
When it comes to insurance, most people (ok, maybe it's just us) are super stressed out and just want it taken care of. Well, we'll tell you, Shine Insurance does just that! As a locally owned business Jeremy and McKenzie will not only 'just take care of it' for you, they'll also explain everything to you (if you want that). They'll also respect you as a business owner and a person, and connect you to some other awesome people in our community - because that's what they do too. They aren't just an insurance agency - they are community builders that have faith and trust in their community, and we're honored to be part of it!
Keep in touch with Shine and look out for their new Scratch Entrepreneur (subscribe here) podcast coming out soon!!

Rainbow Bakery is the indie business of our hearts and dreams. We adore Matt and Lisa and their entire staff, and we're SO thankful for having them on as a sponsor yet again for the 2016 year!!
Rainbow is always paying it forward not only with their delish vegan pastries, but also their mindfulness in the community.
Thank you Rainbow, for another year of support!
Make sure you stop by for a cinnamon roll or (our favorite) a pastie
So excited to bring back The Green Nursery as a sponsor for this year's BHM!! The Green Nursery has been such a supportive neighbor to Gather over the past year since they've moved into Fountain Square Mall, and we're excited to host the spring BHM here in the mall with them!! Always supportive of small business and thinking outside the box - make sure to check up on TGN and see what they're up to their upcoming Bootie Box and the Great Cloth Diaper Change. Find them on FB!!!
The Ryder Magazine and Film Series has been a constant in our lives (and hopefully yours) since we were mere undergrads at IU. If you're not familiar with the mag or the films, please hit up this link and read all about them!! The mag has some superior written articles, and the film series will introduce you to films that you can't find anywhere else in our awesome little town.
Thanks to The Ryder for the unwavering support of our little Handmade Market!
