Tony has spent his life in Bloomington sketching out the buildings of Bloomington and beyond, and providing his services to architects, building owners, and designers alike. Have a new building you're thinking of renovating? Call on Tony and he can get the blueprint started for you! Have an apartment you're trying to figure out how to design? Call on Tony! He's worked rental companies with such as Parker Management, Omega Properties, Elkins Rentals, etc. Most recently he's worked with architects in the Bedford area to bring a new gymnastics facility and Irish Pub to their downtown! A contractor with a crafter for a wife - what else could you ask for?!
Brittney (MissHappyPink) has been making and creating her whole life. Once she picked up her first squeegee there was NO stopping her. She screen prints designs the old fashioned way onto paper or textiles. Old-fashioned meaning that each print is hand-pulled with two hands and a squeegee on a table top press. She creates art prints and greeting cards on paper as well as wearable art such as patches and t-shirts.
Gather is like the left-hand to our Bloomington Handmade Market. One cannot exist without the other. And so, we give them a special sponsor shout-out today for the support, inspiration, and consistency that we provide each other.
If you've never stepped foot inside Gather (it's ok, at least go to the Market) why not stop in the Saturday of the spring mini. You'll find nearly 300 makers in 1300 sq foot that represent all that BHM stands for. They're a home for BHM vendors past, present, and future, and will continue to grow and thrive as the Market does the same. Thank you.
Starsprinkle Supercollider is a husband and wife artistic collaboration producing work that is inspired by nature, fantasy, and the whimsical world we live in. Cecily, one half of the duo, creates jewelry by hand from sterling, copper, enamel, and other eye-catching bits and pieces. Joshua, the other half, makes mostly two dimensional art using pencil, paint, and digital media. Together, they strive to make the world a little brighter and to bring out the sense of wonder that is present in everyone.
Unique, elegantly designed and vibrantly painted cut-paper artwork to bring the beauty and atmosphere of the natural world into your home. Drawing from themes of nature and place, Elizabeth cuts intricate paper designs by hand and mounts them onto her bright, expressive watercolor paintings. Whether it’s an oak tree, a rural landscape or a spotted turtle, she works to express inner qualities through her art.
We're so excited to have Cardinal Stage on as a Sponsor again this spring! Cardinal does so many amazing, interesting, fun, mesmerizing activities and programs and we're so proud to be part of their community! We do hope that you witnessed the pure Joy that was Love, Loss, and What I Wore last week with ensemble casts from all over Bloomington! Cardinal raised well over $5 K for My Sister's Closet through these performances! At the end of this month, make sure to check out Elephant and Piggies - we are in a play at the Waldron!!
