Crazy Horse Food & Drink Emporium is a bar with a great atmosphere. Housed in a building that was originally constructed in the 1880s, Crazy Horse takes pride in the rich history and tradition steeped within the walls. The menu features classic American food like yummy burgers, steaks, and salads, and tasty appetizers to share. What really makes Crazy Horse shine is their huge selection of beer. They are known for their Around the World in Eighty Beers club, where you can try out the 80 different domestic, imported and micro-brew beers, and get your name inscribed on a plaque for your efforts. So head on over to Crazy Horse, located at 214 W. Kirkwood in downtown Bloomington, to try a new beer, eat some delicious food, and have a good time.

BHM is having a post-market celebration at Crazy Horse on Saturday night after our market event closes! Drop by to say hello and gush about the awesome new handmade items you acquired at the market!

The BHM holiday market is only 3 DAYS away! Are you ready to shop and enjoy yourself?! We have one final group of vendors to introduce you to (clockwise from top left):

Van Vintage Design: Jacqui of Van Vintage Design has been building re-purposed dispensers for the past 2 years, and can often be found at estate sales and flea markets. She is proud to outfit several restaurants and distilleries around the country with her unique, one of a kind lighting.

Anya Pany: Anya Pany creates whimsical illustrations using negative space. Her favorite materials are gouache, ink an color pencils. Anya was born in Soviet Ukraine and has lived in the US since 1999. These two polar worlds continue to blend and inspire her artwork.

Brown County Glassworks: Anne Brahaum of Brown County Glassworks took stained glass classes all through high school and fell in love with the beauty of glass. She spent the next 15 years experimenting with all of the different ways she could use the copper foil method to make 3D functional objects. Then she took a glass fusing class and the process of melting glass instantly mesmerized her. She left stained glass behind and has been enjoying exploring the endless glass kilnforming possibilities ever since.

Conduit Press: Talia Halliday started Conduit Press in 2009 after being inspired by her fellow Bloomington artists. Her work is comprised of two dynamic lines: leather and book art. Her leather work includes leather journals in a variety of styles and sizes, refillable leather notebooks for the on-the-go guy or gal, as well as leather clutches, bags, and wallets. Her book art is categorized mostly by the use of reclaimed/discarded books that are transformed into holders of things special, like flasks, wedding bands, love notes and more!

Get yourself on down to the Bloomington Convention Center (3rd and College) this Saturday, November 9th to say hello to the vendors we've featured here over the past couple of months. We're looking forward to seeing you!

Can you believe there are only four days to go until the BHM holiday market event?! We're so excited about our fabulous vendor lineup this year! You certainly won't want to miss these talented folks (clockwise from top left):

Sara December Rose: Sara creates beautiful goods for everyday life - simple embroidered cards, handmade paper goods, tote bags, jewelry, and photographic prints.

Get Lathered Soap Company: The Get Lathered Soap Company is owned and operated by Rhonda Frye of Indianapolis. Rhonda formulates premium, skin-loving soaps with fun and beautiful techniques. This fusion of art with science results in exceptional soaps that are wonderful to see and to use. Other product offerings include liquid soaps, solid shampoos & conditioners, and lip balms. Visit Get Lathered at the market to experience these affordable luxuries for yourself!

Lit Knits: Lit Knits is the brainchild of knitter and avid reader, Laura Sparks. Based in her Bloomington, IN arts and crafts bungalow, Lit Knits marries modern knit styles with well-loved books, characters, and authors. The shop started off in early 2011 with just a few simple designs - contemporary patterns with classic lines that reminded Laura of some literary favorites, like Virginia Woolf and Scout Finch, Northanger Abbey and Ishmael. Laura has since incorporated new techniques and more luxury yarns (with some sublime literary marvels!), creating a forward-thinking collection that is always fresh, a little luscious, and delightfully literary.

Christie Cooper Ceramics: Christie Cooper is an artist and ceramics instructor living and working in Bloomington, IN. She received her BFA in ceramics from Indiana University. She continues to work primarily in clay and is an instructor at the Waldron Arts Center and the Bloomington Clay Studio.

See you all very soon!

November has finally arrived and that means it's almost time for our holiday market! But we've still got some more vendors to introduce you to before the event on the 9th, including these three (from left to right):

Bets & Mags: Bets & Mags is a mother-daughter team offering handmade modern baby accessories along with plush fleece & felt toys for children. Crafted from their own original designs and with a modern, sometimes quirky, aesthetic, their baby line is comprised of fun yet practical items for new parents. Their imaginary play sets, which include plush vegetables and a doctor kit, are soft and durable and provide inspiration for hours of creative fun for kids of all ages. Based out of Bloomington & Lafayette, Indiana, Bets & Mags collaborate regularly over the phone and in person to create a wide range of items that is continually evolving to reflect the inspiration they find in everyday life.

bobaloo!: bobaloo! is a line of modern handmade gifts for babies and tots. With a focus on bright, not-too-juvenile fabrics, each product is designed to be a useful, adorable gift. From bibs to burp cloths to crayon aprons, we've got the next baby shower or birthday party covered!

Elms & Cedars: Elms & Cedars creates teeny tiny little togs for teeny tiny little human beings. They stick to the strict belief that if being teeny tiny doesn't make an item cute enough, then you must put an applique on it! Favorite appliques include foxes and robots... maybe even a robot-fox.
