Before Show Day
Vendor Map
Plan ahead for your day (and let your friends know where to find you!) by checking out the vendor map at the bottom of this page. You can also save and share the show graphic below.
Booth spaces in the convention center vary a bit based on the location, but all are at least 8’x8’ - please be a kind and courteous neighbor and stay within your marked lines!
Social media
Keep sharing the event on your socials! Use #bhmholiday ahead of the show. RSVP to our Facebook event and invite your friends!
Swag Bags
As always, we are giving away swag bags full of vendor and sponsor goodies to the first shoppers in line at the BHM merch booth when the show begins. If you’d like to donate a small something to these bags (a little sample sized item, coupon, or postcard is great!) please get those to Gather (116 N Walnut St, Bloomington IN 47404) by November 4.
Don’t forget to bring…

Don’t forget to bring…
- Snacks or drinks of your choosing - the convention center has concessions available, but we know it’s nice to have your favorites on hand!
- All the tables, chairs, displays, table coverings, and plenty of products!
- Fully charged credit card readers, change/cash box, and any extra backup batteries you may need (electricity is not guaranteed near your booth)
- Business cards, price tags, booth signage with your business name, etc
- All the other random goodies that prove useful at shows - pens, zip ties, safety pins, tape, scissors…
show day!!
Checking in
The Convention Center will be open for early setup to all vendors who requested/paid for access on Friday from 2-5pm (everyone must be OUT by 5 when the convention center closes). All other vendors can arrive for setup at 7:30am on Saturday and 8am on Sunday. PLEASE do not arrive earlier - this is stressful for us organizers as we prepare the space!
Before you start setting up, check in at the merch booth upstairs or find an organizer to let us know you’re there and hear any other final details we need to pass along. We may have last-minute map updates, so checking in first is helpful!
Unloading
Check the map carefully for your booth assignment and find the nearest entrance to bring your things to your booth space. We have a handy graphic below that shows all Convention Center entrances.
You must be set up and ready to go when the event starts at 10am each day - shoppers always line up in advance, so they’ll be ready for you as soon as we open the doors!
Parking
There are a few free parking lots near the Convention Center - we ask that vendors do NOT leave their cars in the closest spots for the convenience of our shoppers. Please move to the lot on the other side of the B-Line Trail after unloading your things!
Street parking downtown is also available. Meters are enforced from 8am - 9pm on Saturday (free on Sunday!) Street parking costs $1 per hour, and you can feed the meter throughout the day or pay with the ParkMobile app.
Food and Drinks
Breakfast: Vendors will receive a breakfast coupon that can be used at the Convention Center’s concession area for breakfast. One breakfast coupon per booth per day.
Lunch: Vendors will receive a lunch coupon that can be used at the Convention Center’s concession area for lunch, snacks, or drinks. One lunch coupon per booth per day.
Dinner: there are tons of great local restaurants downtown if you want to grab dinner after the show closes each day. Feel free to ask any of our organizers or fellow local vendors for their favorites if you would like suggestions!
Booth Sitters
Need a quick break to use the restroom or grab a snack? Booth sitters are available! We’ll be wandering the show throughout the day to check on everyone. If you don’t see a volunteer or organizer when you need us, just text your business name and booth number to our Volunteer Coordinator Pixie (812-369-9735) and someone will come watch over your things while you’re away.
Keep in mind booth sitters will not make sales for you unless you specifically direct them to - they just keep an eye on your booth until you return.
Vendor Shopping Hour
After the show closes to the public on Saturday, stick around for a vendors-only shopping hour from 4-5pm! This is optional, but it's a great time to meet the other makers and buy some handmade goodies for yourself or your loved ones!
Packing Up
The show ends at 4pm both days - DO NOT pack up before 4! This is rude and disruptive to other vendors and sends a message to shoppers that it’s time to leave. Packing up early without a valid reason AND an organizer’s permission will likely mean you won’t be invited back to a future market.
